2025-26 Board Priorities
As we reflect on 2025, the Board and committees have evaluated the progress and outcomes of the year’s key priorities. This review highlights accomplishments, identifies areas for improvement, and informs our strategic planning as we move into 2026.
The renovated Club has quickly become a hub for members and guests. The upgraded gaming area, alfresco gaming room and additional machines have helped boost revenue. The newly completed Club entrance now welcomes everyone into a fresh, modern foyer designed to better support both members and staff. The stunning new bar, coffee station, sports bar and lounge are now open, providing vibrant spaces to relax, connect, and enjoy the Club atmosphere.
The pool area transformation is complete with fresh turf, hardwood tables, umbrellas, and kids’ games. Over the holidays, the mini golf setup was a hit with families, and the new slushie machine kept everyone cool. We look forward to continuing to make the Lawn a vibrant space for members to relax and enjoy.
Renovation of the Half Way House is also complete, delivering a more functional working space and member-friendly facility.
Earlier this season, we completed a major greens renovation, including scarifying, aerating with 19mm hollow tines, top-dressing, and fertilising. This intensive work has given the greens the boost they needed after a tough few seasons. The results are already showing, and the greens are playing beautifully.
A key focus moving forward will be to investigate and implement improvements to cart paths within budget constraints. Several priorities have been identified with actions pending.
With new staff in place, the Club is enhancing marketing and communications to boost visibility and revenue. A redesigned website with improved navigation and integrated online booking for dining, events, and barefoot bowls will simplify the member experience. Updated video content, including course flyovers and a re-edited header video, will showcase the golf course and overall club experience.
As we move into the next phase, the Board are focused on the following priorities:
-
Research and consider additional sporting options: Golf Simulator, Pickleball, competitive socialisation.
-
Explore Sustainable Growth: Research how similar businesses are diversifying their income and assess the suitability of these opportunities for our area and membership.
-
Informed Decision-Making: Conduct thorough due diligence, seek expert guidance, and undertake feasibility studies before pursuing strategic changes.
-
Facility Masterplan: Develop a long-term infrastructure plan to ensure coordinated, responsible investment in the Club’s future.
