Are you part of a local group working to support your community? The Byron Shire LGA Category 1 ClubGRANTS Program is here to help.
Each year, cash grants are offered to eligible organisations delivering projects that strengthen our community. These grants focus on:
Community welfare and social services
Community development initiatives
Employment assistance programs
Community health services
Projects that improve the living standards of low-income and disadvantaged people
Who’s Involved?
The Byron Shire LGA Category 1 ClubGRANTS are delivered through a local partnership of three participating Clubs:
Byron Bay Services Club
Mullumbimby Ex-Services Club
Ocean Shores Country Club
Together with representatives from Byron Shire Council and the NSW Department of Justice, these Clubs form the Byron Shire Local Committee, which oversees the grant process and ensures fair and effective distribution of funding.
